York River Cruises start and end at King’s Staith Landing.
To find the start point, navigate to King’s Staith, King’s Staith, York, YO1 9SN. You will find the location across from the Queen’s Hotel and outside the King’s Arms and Lowther pubs.

Are drinks included on York River Cruises?
Not all York river boat cruises include drinks. All boats except the self-drive ones include access to a well-stocked bar where you can purchase drinks throughout your journey.
Welcome drinks are only provided on the party cruise and the floodlit evening cruise.
How to find City Cruises King’s Staith Landing in York
Finding Kings Staith Landing in York is not difficult at all. It is situated across from the Queen’s Hotel and outside of the King’s Arms and Lowther public houses. It is in a prime location as it can be easily accessed by foot, bicycle, or car.
To get to Kings Staith Landing from York city centre, simply head down Skeldergate and onto Kings Staith. You will then be able to find the landing, which is clearly signposted.
If you are visiting from further afield, there are several buses that service both the city centre and Kings Staith Landing. These include numbers 1C, 5A, 757, X63 and X64.
If you are visiting by car, Castle Car Park is conveniently located just an X minute walk away. Alternatively, you can use the brilliant park and ride facilities around the city to get in and out of York city centre.

What if it rains on my York River Cruise?
The York River Cruise boats have both covered and open seating options so you can enjoy your cruise in comfort, no matter the weather!
If you do experience a shower on your journey, there is plenty of seating available inside the saloon. Alternatively, there are a limited number of large umbrellas available to use for guests seated on the top deck.
