Half-Term Letterpress Printing for Small Groups

Bring the family or a bunch of friends (or just yourself!) to a private printing session and make some big prints to take home with you.

Print phrases, bold statements, family names or giant letters and make your own big, bold prints for your home, as a gift, or as your own public statement.

You can use the big steel letters of in typeface Graft, or design your own letters using the four different shapes of the modular type system, Brico.

Sessions work well for one to six people. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.

Half Term Animation Workshops

An exciting opportunity to work with animator Vincent James. Learn how to animate and create your own animation – no previous experience required!

Vincent will be creating a new animated film celebrating the heritage and transformation of the Hyde Park Picture House. He’s using imagery and iconography from the history and archive.

Plus, he will be using the work created by the young people attending the workshops. The film will be later screened at the newly renovated cinema following reopening.

Workshops are divided into two age groups, 7-11 years old and 11-14 years old.

The workshop is designed for young participants to attend independently.
