I love these ideas! In the past I have gifted similar mugs to my travel-loving friends. My brother and my dad collect Starbucks mugs, and thus whenever I visit a new city or country, I try to make it to Starbucks to snag one or two location mugs!

I think they are a great idea. When my mom went into hospital to deliver my sister we put together a nice care package for her. It contained a gift card, a box of chocolates, a tin of biscuits, two fresh bottles of water, congratulation cards from people and a small handmade bouquet of flowers.
